Accounting
As an accounting major at Southeast, you’ll learn the art and practice of measuring, interpreting, and communicating information about financial activity. Leverage your bachelor's accounting degree to sit for and pass the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam.

As for the job market, the Bureau of Labor Statistics expects 7% job growth by 2028 and in the 2019 Best College Majors for a Lucrative Career, business administration made #2 on the list.
Nursing
A Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree prepares you for a job in the medical field. You’ll work with experienced professionals in small class settings.You’ll gain real world experience through clinical opportunities.As a nursing major at Southeast, you’ll gain incredible real-world learning experience in a program accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE).

We’ll need to take into consideration where you’re coming from, how much prior education you’ve completed, and what type of degree or program you may want to earn.Both past academic performance and the demonstration of academic promise are taken into consideration for admission to Southeast. Southeast is one of the most affordable colleges in the area — in fact, 70% of our student population qualifies for scholarships. Don’t think you’re eligible? Don’t be so sure. We offer scholarships based on activities you participate in, and our Copper Dome scholarship program is even available with test optional admissions!
