Who should take the GRE test?

The GRE test is suggested for prospective graduate and business school applicants who want to pursue a master's degree in business or law.

What does the test measure?

The GRE Test measures your verbal and quantitative reasoning, critical thinking, and analytical writing skills. The question types reflect the kind of thinking and skills students will require in their graduate school programs.

What is the duration of the GRE test?

The overall test time of the GRE test is about 1 hour and 58 minutes, where there are six sections with a 10-minute break following the third section.

How can I send my GRE scores?

You can choose to send your best scores either on the test day or after the test day. After viewing your scores at the test center on the test day, you can choose to send your scores for free or you can even choose to not send your score at this time. However, if you choose to send your scores after the test day, you will be required to pay a fee. Your test fee entitles you to request scores to be sent up to four graduate institutions and you will be required to pay a fee of $27 per recipient if you decide to send scores after the test day.

Is it possible to retake the GRE test?

It is completely okay if you would like to take the GRE test again. You can retake the test once in every 21 days, up to five times within any continuous rolling 12-month period depending on the availability of the test.

What does the GRE score report include?

There will be three scores reported on the GRE General Test that will include a Verbal Reasoning score ranging from 130-170 score scale, a Quantitative Reasoning score ranging from 130-170 score scale, and an Analytical Writing score ranging from 0-6 score scale.

Is it possible to cancel my GRE scores?

At the end of the test, you will be asked if you want to Report (view) or Cancel your scores. You will be able to view your unofficial Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores if you select Report. You will not be able to view your Analytical Writing score at that time as the essay scoring will still be in process. Or, you can simply select to Cancel your scores if you are not confident about your scores.

How long does it take to receive the official scores?

Your official scores will be available in your ETS account and also be sent to the score recipients designated on the test day in about 8-10 days after your test date. You will receive a notification in your email from ETS when your official scores are available.

How can I register for my GRE test?

You can simply register for the test or view your scores by creating an ETS account. We are more than happy to help you register and book your test dates. You can easily view the test centers, dates, seat availability easily with us or by logging in to your ETS account.

What are the ID requirements for the test?

You PTE Academic Score Report will be valid for two years from the day of your test date. According to Pearson, the Department of Home Affairs in Australia (DHA) will accept scores assigned even up to three years after your test date.

Is it possible to reschedule or cancel the registration?

You can easily reschedule or cancel your registration any time; however, it is highly suggested that you do so no later than four days before your test date in order to avoid forfeiting your entire test fee.
