Tips on studying abroad!
Ever wondered how the life would be when we all plan of studying abroad. This seems most back breaking for every one of us, from packing up clothes, arranging accommodation, fights confirmation blah blah… most importantly leaving your family, friends and a life behind.
We understand living abroad doesn’t come cheap, but that doesn’t mean we will be living off the bare essentials. Figuring out our budget before we go will definitely help make life a little bit easier when we get there, thus we can always come up with the idea of having a bank account to avoid any overhead cost.
More to that part time job are always the best option to earn a bit of extra money along side studies. This will also be a great help for any students to get an opportunity and a good way to develop certain skills that our degree might not be able to teach us.
Choosing out the accommodation is the most difficult part, as it all depends on what type of person we intend to be, sharing an accommodation, room mate, area we prefer to stay, peaceful or city area, having a room of own every thing depends on the budget or willingness to pay, thus I personally suggest be precise and sensible while planning with accommodation.
Another important task to do is managing insurance card, I recommend to collect the health insurance card or organize the card at the earliest. The insurance card allows international student towards preventative healthcare and medical care.
Finally when you get to the university understand, “University isn’t just about the studying”. Student clubs are a great way to meet new people, take time away from your studies and learn something new. Whether it’s sport, choir or theater, you’re bound to find something you’ll enjoy.
Always remember every difficult situation you face, comes up with something new, you will learn from it appreciate and embrace the opportunity! It’s ok to feel nervous, but the feelings of excitement will kick in in no time!
