About the University
The University of West London (UWL) is a public research university in the United Kingdom which has campuses in Ealing and Brentford in Greater London, as well as in Reading, Berkshire. The university has roots back to 1860, when the Lady Byron School was founded, which later became Ealing College of Higher Education. In 1992, it became a university and 18 years later it was renamed the University of West London.

Locations
There are two campus sites in western Greater London, located in St Mary’s Road, Ealing and at Paragon House in Brentford. There is also a third site in Reading, Berkshire, which is some 31 miles / 50 km from the Ealing sites.
Ealing Site

Entry Requirements
UWL also request IELTS with an overall score of 6.0 with no less than 5.5 in each element (other English tests such as the Pearson PTE are also accepted).

Scholarships and Fees
Fees vary by subject and level of study. Our ‘standard’ tuition fees are outlined below.

- Offer-holding overseas students have the opportunity to apply for our International Ambassador Scholarship. This offers a contribution of up to £5,000 towards first year Undergraduate or Postgraduate tuition fee.
